Fitzroy Pavement Reconstruction Project

The project is located in the central Queensland area near the township of Rolleston QLD. As a result of monsoonal rain and numerous tropical cyclones across some areas of Queensland, the road network sustained an unprecendented level of damage between January 2010 and April 2010. This project is part of the Department of Main Roads plan to repair this damage which includes bulk earthworks to unstable batters, shoulder widening, drainage construction and stabilising and resealing of the existing road surface. IDC Contracting is currently supplying the client with plant hire, side tippers, floats and water carts to complete the works.
